Each character in my video will wear red lipstick, a sign of femininity and beauty which unifies the 4 women. My artist, Cinthia Rose, uses red lipstick as part of her brand. Hover, rather than using it to enhance her beauty, she uses the lipstick to spread a message- women are not objects of beauty or pleasure, they are humans who should be equal in society to men. This is shown on her album cover, where she uses the red lipstick to write on the mirror, using two objects typically used to represent beauty to spread her message.
I also had the idea that Cinthia Rose may create her own brand of red lipstick which she will sell to her fans. the use of the red lipstick in her latest music video and on her album cover is significant as it promotes the product.
