The first question revealed that the 77.8% of my audience were aged 16-18. This is good as my target audience is young females.
The second question told me that 82.4% of my audience listen to Pop music. Closely following 42.1% of my audience listen to R&B. This is interesting as I could use cover versions of a song using these genres.
50% of my audience were unemployed. This tells me that my audience are either young or stereo typically from a lower social class.
44.4% of my audience said their views most align with the Labour Party. However, others also voted for the Conservative, Liberal Democratic Party and Green Party. The audience is from a variety of political backgrounds meaning there will be a variety of views on feminism.
100% of people who answered the survey said they were aware of feminism. This is good as my target audience should be educated but also open minded. However, only 58.8% of people had heard of the Me Too movement, which links to feminism, therefore I may want to raise awareness about this in my music video.
The majority of people said that they were financially dependant on another or living with parents, but also said they planned on having a university education or had already had one. This fits my target audience as I am aiming the music video at young, educated people.
The majority of people said that they did not read any newspapers, however the few who did read The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Daily telegraph and The Guardian. This is good as it shows there is a variety of political stances within my audience.
70% of my audience were subscribed to Netflix among other services. This tells me that they may be of a higher class as they have disposable income to spend on subscriptions. I could use this to my advantage and look for Netflix shows linking to feminism.
Most of the feedback on Feminism clarified that it still has a long way to go. Many people feel it is no longer needed, while others have misconceptions about what Feminism actually is. They said they would expect the music video to show women in powerful positions, supporting each other as well as explaining what Feminism actually is.
